About My Work.

​I have supported women, children and LGBTQIA+ leaving high control religious groups since leaving 2x2s myself, 25+ years ago.

​

I have an interest in group based coercive control, specifically in high control fundamentalist christian communities in Australia.

​

I am a writer, content creator, survivor advocate and podcast host.

​

I consult with agencies, police, medical and legal professionals to provide information and resources to support people reporting abuse and coercion inside 2x2s, and attempting to leave high control communities in Australia. Cult exit support for 2x2s is a key part of my advocacy, in particular for LGBTQIA+ and young people.

 

I have contributed to, and given evidence to, several Australian government inquiries.

I co-founded #GoKindly and have experience with homelessness and social enterprise sector.
